Employment of our PhD graduates

PhD graduates from DTU Physics are employed in many different jobs. Around 150 PhD students graduated in the period from 2018-2023, and

• About half of them are employed in a private company, working as e.g. data scientists, development engineers, process specialists or within management
• A quarter of the PhD graduates work at universities, mainly as postdocs
• Around 13% work in public research institutions, in governmental institutions or at hospitals as e.g. postdocs, specialists or data analysts
