PhD defence Sina Borgi

 Congratulations to Sine Borgi for successfully defending his thesis on "Dislocation identification using dark-field X-ray microscopy in bulk aluminium crystals".

He worked on forward modelling images of dark-field X-ray microscopy and simulation-based identification of individual dislocations: linking defect physics to measurable image contrast, so identification becomes robust and reproducible in bulk samples.

The PhD was supervised by Henning Friis Poulsen and Grethe Winther and he worked in collaboration with the 3D Imagin Centre.
