New quantum communication network protects data now and in the future

Starting today, a new secure communication network based on the exchange of so-called quantum keys will connect four ministries and a government agency. The security of the network is based on the laws of quantum physics, making it immune to hacker breaches.

Facts

The QCI.DK project has established Denmark’s first secure communication network resistant to quantum-computer decryption. The network is Denmark’s contribution to the pan-European EuroQCI project.
