Admission card and keys

 

Admission card
In order to get access to the Physics buildings, you need a DTU admission-card. This card may also be used to get access to the buildings out of normal working hours. Should you need access to the laboratories, you must have a special authorization. Søren Robert Nimb will order the admission-card and you will get a temporary visitor’s admission-card until the correct card has been produced. When you have received the correct card it must be activated – for instructions as to how, use this link: https://cardadmin.cas.dtu.dk

Admission card for PhD Students
If you are a PhD student you will get your admission card from the PhD office. You will get a temporary visitor’s admission-card until the correct card has been produced from Søren Robert Nimb.

Key
Søren Robert Nimb will also give you an office key.

As a rule, remember to hand back your key and admission-card when your employment ceases.

Your first day at DTU Physics

 

Registration, e-mail, log-in, and photo

As newly appointed you must be registered in the DTUBasen in order to get access to the IT-systems of Physics and DTU, to get your admission-card as well as other services. Your administrative contactperson in your section will registrate you, get you an email and login.

Credit card

Applying for a credit card

 

Application as well as rules and regulations for DTU credit card is available through DTU Fusion.

Delivery of credit card

Get your credit card from Mia Beyerholm at her office, building 311, room 202.

Return your credit card

Remember to return your credit card to Mia Beyerholm at her office, building 311, room 202.

 


 

Buddy scheme

For each new employee the section / function leader is responsible for appointing a buddy. 
The task of the buddy is to help the new employee to get settled at Physics and DTU as quickly as possible.

Approximately one week before start the leader should send an welcome email to the new employee stating practical issues as where and when to arrive on the first day as well as the name of the buddy.
